Greetings. I am Hwang Byeong-hui, Dean of Research.
I consider it a great honor and a sense of immense responsibility to be in charge of the Research Office at Incheon National University. Amidst rapidly changing domestic and international research environments and trends, I will do my utmost to create an environment where our university can secure higher research competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth.
First, I will focus on creating an environment where researchers can fully immerse themselves in their work.
I will improve support systems to free researchers from administrative burdens and allow them to concentrate purely on their research, striving to foster an environment where outstanding researchers can fully engage.
Second, we will actively support the securing of large-scale national projects and industry-academia collaboration projects.
We will focus on supporting universities in securing domestic and international research funding.
We will strengthen information sharing and consulting among researchers and increase project success rates through customized support starting from the research planning stage.
We will expand collaborative networks to broaden opportunities for practical research.
Third, we will strive to generate and disseminate excellent research results.
We will enhance our competitiveness in securing research projects through publication in world-class academic journals and endeavor to create new value by filing for fundamental patents.
Furthermore, we will fulfill the university's social responsibility by disseminating and sharing research outcomes with society.

We will listen attentively to your valuable opinions and suggestions, and provide researcher-centered administrative services.
